I want to capture all the memories of the little things you forget to remember.

I want to remember what that evening sunlight looked like through her first curls and I want to remember how small her hand looked inside daddy’s hand the night she was feeling sick. 

I want to remember her curiosity when the tap started dripping when she was still small enough for a kitchen sink bath and I want to remember how it looked when she tipped the bowl of pasta all over her head 

It sets my heart on fire to be able to catch these moments and to have the luxury of being able to reflect back on them when time has moved on.
